the sports junkies radio show, our inspiration for doing talk radio and motivation to get up each morning and sit in dc traffic, coined the term “silly” to mean absolutely awesome. a synonym of “silly” is “money” – like, “oh danny, we’re going to vegas for your bachelor party and its going to be a little bit silly/money.”
before the NFL season started, people had a lot of questions about the redskins. will they have a better record than last season? will they contend for a playoff spot? mike florio from profootballtalk.com picked the redskins to win the superbowl! (which makes no sense whatsoever). but even with all of the 
skepticism and uncertainty coming from most of the talking heads in the media, i had hope that the redskins that started out 6-2 last season, before crashing and burning, would be SILLY this year. i know us guys like to rate things all the time especially women, sports, and… i think that’s all guys really think about. well anyway, i gave the ’skins a ‘8 out of 10′. not quite a julianne hough or hyori lee, a.k.a. girl of your dreams but definitely someone thats SILLY. very attractive, nice personality, flowery fragrance… what’s NOT to like about ‘8′? i have to say though, after winning only 2 of the first 7 games, i have to drop the ‘8′ down to a ‘2′. a ‘2 out of 10′ is not silly. the redskins offense and entire organization is a 2… not quite a ‘1′ like the rams with its bad breath and constant nagging but just a step above that.
the redskins have let me down this season and so pretty soon im gonna have to shop the market for someone who fixes themselves up a bit when going out. i want their hair done real nice and i want them to look just plain SILLY… and not ugly betty silly.
in related news, a sad story about the SILLY redskins cheerleader who is not feeling too silly after a flu-shot gone awry. desiree jennings got her flu shot at reston safeway only to end up getting sick… and we’re not talking about the flu. she has a rare neurological disease brought on by the vaccination and its a very unfortunate situation. read about Desiree Jennings’ story here. shes still a ‘10′ because shes got that fight in her… something our dear redskins could learn.
