i’d like to tell you that i don’t have any hate in my heart. but i can’t. no one can. unfortunately, every one of us hates something or someone. some of the things that i hate include bad drivers, lebron’s whining, fans of korean pop groups who take themselves too seriously, jafar from aladdin, and germs. but most of all, i hate the dallas cowboys. as a redskins fan, its in my blood to hate everything about them. i hate their undeserved arrogance. every year, they carry themselves as if they are superbowl champs even though they haven’t won a playoff game in 11 years. they call themselves "america’s team." wtf. the only team that can be called "america’s team" is the justice league. batman, superman, wonder woman, and the green lantern deserve that title. no foreign superheroes allowed. i also hate their players. i hate their players so much that i would never ever draft a cowboy for my fantasty football team. if tony romo and chris simms were the only 2 quarterbacks remaining in the draft, i would pick chris simms. and he’s possibly the worst quarterback to ever play in the nfl. i hate their fans. especially those fans who’ve never been to dallas or the state of texas which probably makes up for 75% of their fan base. i hate the fact that there are so many cowboys fans in the dc area. it doesn’t make sense. you were born and raised in northern virginia. but because you didn’t have friends in elementary school, you decided to be "cool" and "different" from all the redskins fans around you. so you decided to root for the rival cowboys because they were winning superbowls in the early 90’s. and you stuck with them to be different even though you have absolutely no association with the city of dallas. that’s like rooting for a different country in the olympics. or rooting for edward cullen when you were born and raised a werewolf. it just shouldn’t happen. and now, you’re just a big d-bag with your cowboys flags hanging from your car windows even though you have va license plates. if dallas is so great, then why don’t you move there so that a more derserving disabled person could take your job at the fair lakes wal-mart.
now, don’t get me wrong. i’m a realist and i have plenty of things to complain about when it comes to the redskins. i hate the midget owner, vinny cerrato and the inept front office, the game-day experience at fedex field, and randle el’s punt returns. but like hunjoon said, the redskins are our team and i’ll always stick with them in good times and bad (like now). yes, dallas currently is a better team than the redskins. considering the fact that the redskins/cowboys game is always close, the redskins are 11 point dogs which tells you how bad they’ve been this year. hmm…my head picks dallas to win 20 – 14. but my heart picks the redskins to win 45 – 6. my heart can be dumb sometimes. go skins.
