happy black friday everyone. if you are reading this you are probably one of the seven americans at work today. i am at work myself which is why i’ll make the redskins pick of the week. danny is probably sleeping at this very moment with his gravy breath and turkey dreams.
this is the second and final meeting of the season between these two bitter rivals. it has only been five weeks since the first game on a primetime monday night drubbing, courtesy of the philadelphia eagles. the stakes are a lot less high this time around for the washington redskins as they have a record of 3 wins and 7 losses. the only thing that will motivate the redskins’ players is that philadelphia is such a big rivalry game. danny recently blogged about his hatred for the dallas cowboys and though i concur wholeheartedly, i also put the eagles right up there as one of my most 
hated teams. philadelphia has nothing good to offer except cream cheese and boyz II men. everything else just sucks- west coast offense sucks (which the redskins have tried to use. fail). the fact that philly’s most famed athlete is fictitious (rocky). the cheesesteaks are even overrated (dc area’s jerry’s subs and pizza version cheesesteaks are more money – tender juicy slices of jerry’s special steak, grilled-to-perfection. ooh! ooh! jerry’s!). philadelphia is the city where gay black guys congregate. “city of brotherly love” - ring a bell? liberty bell? ding!
from a redskins’ standpoint, the season is lost… all we can do is hope for some meaningful game experience for the young players so we can be ready for next season. i must admit though that the redskins play every game close. historically, the redskins vs. eagles are always like 3 point games. however, because i have eagles’ quarterback, donovan mcnabb, and the eagles’ defense on my 1st place fantasy team, i’m choosing the eagles to murder the redskins in blow-out fashion.
