make no mistake, we have made it very clear on our podcasts that the ladies would do well to give their men some space during the football season. it’s not because we hate the sunday afternoon window shopping or hosting tea parties, but this is the only chance each week for us to live vicariously through men of much larger stature. real men who get paid millions to play a game. but for those of you ladies who are not dating and are looking for that special 
someone… you need to understand that you can learn a lot about a man by the way he follows professional football. washington redskins fans, for instance, are a prime example. most of us under the age of 30 have seen some glimpses of glory but a big chunk of our adult lives were spent in tears and sadness and yet, amidst all the turmoil, we have remained loyal. for those that have not turned their backs on this once proud franchise, we have shown endurance and patience. these are traits that are key in any relationship. dallas cowboys fans, on the otherhand, are the opposite of everything that is true and good in this world. these are the men (unless they were born in dallas) that latched on to a team that made a little run in the 90s and became the self-proclaimed “amerca’s team”. these are the men that could not be faithful to their hometown redskins and abandoned ship to something that was newer and more flashy. is that what you want, ladies? a man that will jolt at first sign of aging and problems for a younger version of you? be advised sisters. find a man that bleeds his hometown team’s colors through good times and bad and you have yourself a catch.
fear not ladies, the regular season is coming to an end so that means less football talk on our show and more SUJU bashing. this week our pride and joy, the redskins, play our rivals from up north, the new york giants on monday night football. jon’s pick: redskins 24 – giants 20.
